Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Juan Gotti (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Elroy Bishop (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gotti comes to the cage accompanied by till i collapse. Bishop comes into a darkened arena with his song building. The Regulator kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 3 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Juan Gotti! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Elroy Bishop! The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, George Francis and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gotti wants to clinch up but Bishop keeps it at a distance. Bishop throws a right and a left that Gotti avoids nicely. Bishop lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Gotti circles away quickly and effectively. Bishop slaps away a takedown attempt from Gotti, before circling back to the center of the mat. Gotti circles away from the clinch attempt.
Elroy Bishop seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Bishop lands with a cross. Bishop keeps the fight on the outside. Gotti tries for a takedown but Bishop sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Bishop throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Gotti. Gotti moves in looking to clinch but Bishop pushes him off. Gotti tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Gotti throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Bishop was covering up waiting for the punch and Gotti finishes the takedown easily into guard. Bishop keeping moving, preventing Gotti from controlling successfully.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bishop pushes Gotti off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there. Bishop misses with a jab, cross combination.
Bishop doesn't manage to clinch there - Gotti circles away.
Gotti closes the distance and lands a one-two. Bishop swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Gotti makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Bishop really felt that one! Bishop throws a left and a right that both miss
and Gotti counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Gotti.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Gotti pulls Bishop into guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Bishop landing with the ground and pound. Gotti avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Bishop works over Gotti with some ground and pound from guard. Bishop throws a big right hand that misses. Gotti looking to control.
Gotti will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Gotti wants to sweep but no luck. Bishop stops Gotti from standing up. Bishop trying to control the position from guard on top but Gotti is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Gotti trying to keep a closed guard but Bishop is proving a slippery customer.
Gotti is breathing heavily.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Bishop throws a combination that misses and Gotti moves into the clinch.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Gotti throws a head punch that misses. Bishop is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Gotti pulls him back up using the underhooks. Gotti tries to circle away but Bishop has him pinned against the cage. Gotti stops a takedown attempt from Bishop.
Bishop is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Gotti gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. Juan Gotti has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Elroy Bishop. Gotti's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Bishop misses with a body shot
and Gotti counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Bishop's guard now. Bishop keeping moving, preventing Gotti from controlling successfully. Gotti stays in close to Bishop's body and controls the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Bishop wants to stand but Gotti is controlling the position. Gotti trying to control the position from guard on top but Bishop is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Gotti bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Bishop darts in trying to clinch and Gotti connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Bishop throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Gotti counters with a nice body kick.

and Gotti moves into the clinch. Gotti gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Bishop.
Bishop works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard. Gotti trying to control the position.
Bishop must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Bishop is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bishop avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Bishop with a flurry of punches that miss. Bishop is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Gotti controls Bishop momentarily but Bishop frees himself. Bishop loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Gotti manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Gotti sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Gotti won't let Bishop get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now. Gotti looking to control but Bishop is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Bishop is trying to get to the cage to help him get back to his feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Gotti looking to control and managing it successfully. Gotti won't let Bishop get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Juan Gotti will probably get the nod. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!

Bishop throws a combination that misses and Gotti counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Bishop's guard now. Gotti wants to get up but he can't break Bishop's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Bishop can do anything to dispel that myth. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Gotti stands up from Bishop's guard - Gotti perhaps looking for a knockout.

and Gotti counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Gotti stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Bishop swivels though and keeps the full guard. Gotti is looking to work some ground and pound but Bishop has wrist control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Gotti would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Gotti trying to control but Bishop is working from the bottom. Elroy Bishop has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bishop is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched. Bishop tries for a takedown but Gotti manages to get underhooks.

Gotti is looking to reverse the position. Bishop cracks Gotti with a big right hand but Gotti just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.

Bishop misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

And that's the end of the fight! Juan Gotti showed his dominance in that final round. Well Gotti has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
