Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Patrick Pattenson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and dumb ass (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pattenson kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is 4 my town. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

4 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Patrick Pattenson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Stewart Dunkirk and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pattenson shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. ass defends it nicely.
Pattenson circles away from the clinch attempt.
ass looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
Pattenson looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Pattenson has his foot on ass's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. ass works his way back into a safe position though.
ass wants to get up but he can't break Pattenson's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
ass stands and steps away. Pattenson gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

and ass counters with a single leg into guard. Pattenson didn't expect that.

ass thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Pattenson has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but ass can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

and ass counters with a nice double leg into half guard.

ass stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Pattenson to get to his feet.
ass changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Pattenson looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

ass really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Pattenson. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
ass wants to stand but Pattenson has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
ass shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.

ass must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

ass feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

ass is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Pattenson looks calm but he's in trouble here. ass gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Pattenson is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! ass lets go of the hold and Pattenson can pop his arm back in it's socket.
