Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Patrick Pattenson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and dumb ass (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pattenson kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is 4 my town. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Patrick Pattenson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, dumb ass! The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Stewart Dunkirk and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Pattenson shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. ass defends it nicely. Pattenson circles away from the clinch attempt.
ass looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Pattenson looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Pattenson has his foot on ass's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. ass works his way back into a safe position though. ass wants to get up but he can't break Pattenson's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. ass stands and steps away. Pattenson gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Pattenson doesn't succeed with the takedown and ass counters with a single leg into guard. Pattenson didn't expect that. ass throws a big right hand that misses. ass thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Pattenson has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but ass can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. ass trying to control but Pattenson is working from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. ass stands up from guard. Let's bang! ass gets the takedown into side control. ass stands up. Pattenson tries for a takedown but ass circles away easily and ass counters with a nice double leg into half guard. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Patrick Pattenson. That's going to take a lot out of him. Pattenson is breathing heavily. Pattenson wants to control but ass is keeping busy.
ass stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Pattenson to get to his feet. ass changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Pattenson looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. ass working away. ass tries to stand but Pattenson is controlling his head. Pattenson regains half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. ass is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Pattenson looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. ass really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Pattenson. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. It looks like ass is going to stand back up.
Pattenson wants to control but ass is keeping busy.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. ass wants to stand but Pattenson has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. ass shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
That's three minutes gone in the round. ass wants to control from the top but Pattenson keeps moving. ass postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Pattenson has a closed guard, preventing ass from standing up. ass must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. ass wants to control from the top but Pattenson keeps moving. ass decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Pattenson moves away from the strike by ass. ass tries to score a power double leg takedown but Pattenson sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten ass somewhat. Pattenson with a poor takedown and ass counters with a takedown into side control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. ass stands up and beckons Pattenson to his feet. ass moves in looking to clinch but Pattenson pushes him off. ass feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. ass postures up in Pattenson's guard and throws a big left but Pattenson blocks it. Pattenson throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Pattenson is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and ass defends well. Pattenson keeping moving, preventing ass from controlling successfully. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Pattenson is trying to control the position but ass postures up. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fight stays on the outside here - ass looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Pattenson avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Pattenson has his takedown stuffed so ass counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. ass with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. ass wanted to stand there but Pattenson had control of the position. Pattenson trying to strike off his back.

He's managed to get a loose triangle. ass doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. ass manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. ass postures up.
ass content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Pattenson keeping moving, preventing ass from controlling successfully.
That's one minute gone in the round. ass is looking to stand up but Pattenson won't let him. ass gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. ass fails with an attempt to clinch.
ass scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Pattenson throwing some weak shots from the bottom that do no damage.
ass is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Pattenson looks calm but he's in trouble here. ass gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Pattenson is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! ass lets go of the hold and Pattenson can pop his arm back in it's socket.
