The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gigio looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

Gigio misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Theliel shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Gigio controls Theliel momentarily but Theliel frees himself.
Gigio is really struggling to control Theliel but he's trying to hold on to the position.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Theliel has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Gigio defend it? Theliel steps over the head and cranks it - Gigio is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Theliel!
