Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Petrick Cote (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jan Banan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Petrick Cote has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Petrick Cote seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cote shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Banan defends it nicely.
Cote moves in looking to clinch but Banan pushes him off.
Petrick Cote seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Cote on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Cote tries to get out of the position.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Cote clinches up with Banan and pushes him back against the cage.
Cote is pressed up against the cage. Banan has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Cote down to the mat. Cote avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Cote throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Banan shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Banan was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Cote is bucking up trying to escape but Banan cracks him with another couple of good strikes.

The referee warns Cote that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Banan lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Cote hang on?
Cote is rocked!
Banan postures up and connects with a big shot that has rocked Cote badly. He's trying desperately to grab hold of Banan around the waist but Banan pushes him off and unloads with more strikes, forcing the referee to jump in and save him! Banan is the winner by TKO! Banan jumps onto the cage and shouts into the camera. "We did it momma!"
