Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jay Steel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and vinny souza (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Jay Steel!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

4 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, vinny souza!
The judges for this bout are Alexandre Firmino, Felipe Paraventi and Luis Engracia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
souza shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Steel is trying to defend but souza finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
souza is thwarting Steel's attempts to control the position.
souza is looking for a kimura but Steel is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for souza to get the leverage.
Steel regains full guard. Nicely done.
Steel has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
Steel trying to control the position.
souza trying to control but Steel is working from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Steel pulls souza in close to prevent any damage.
Steel keeping moving, preventing souza from controlling successfully.
Steel looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
souza drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Steel kicks souza off and gets to his feet.
A head kick misses from Steel.
Steel misses with a takedown
and souza counters with a shoot takedown. Steel fights it but they end up in guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Steel looking for a guillotine here but souza defends easily.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
souza wants to stand but Steel has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
souza won't allow Steel to get back to his feet.
Steel is breathing heavily.
souza trying to control the position from guard on top but Steel is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
souza drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and souza jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Steel has his foot on souza's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. souza works his way back into a safe position though.

Steel wants to stand up but souza is controlling him.
Steel has a closed guard, preventing souza from standing up.
souza drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Steel dives on top into guard.
souza striking off his back but it's not causing Steel any problems.
Steel makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Steel trying to control but souza is working from the bottom.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
souza has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Steel can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Steel got a little sloppy there for a moment and souza has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Steel has managed to get both his arms back between souza's legs - danger averted.
Steel decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Steel tries to close the distance and clinch but souza swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but vinny souza will probably get the nod.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Steel pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Steel throws a half hearted mid kick.
souza misses with a takedown
and Steel decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in souza's guard.
Steel really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Steel trying to control but souza is working from the bottom.
Steel in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Steel stays in close to souza's body and controls the position.
souza is looking for a triangle but Steel pushes his legs off easily.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Steel stands up over souza, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Steel won't allow souza to sweep him here.
Steel controls from within his opponent's guard.
Steel passes into half guard.
Steel is figuring out what he wants to do next.
souza is staying active underneath Steel, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Steel seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. souza is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
