Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Carlos Condit (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Martijn de Knegt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Paulsen Ambrosius and Saam Ante.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed takedown attempt from de Knegt is defended easily by Condit .
de Knegt misses with a looping right.
Condit lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as de Knegt backs up against the cage.
Condit stuffs the takedown attempt from de Knegt. de Knegt gets slowly back to his feet.
Condit is trying hard to land a takedown here. de Knegt sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Condit clobbers de Knegt with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Condit ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Condit doesn't manage to clinch there - de Knegt circles away.

de Knegt gets control of Condit 's arms and successfully pulls guard. de Knegt will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
de Knegt wants to stand and escape but Condit is having none of it.

Condit is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
de Knegt wants to control but Condit passes into side.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Condit misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Condit is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
de Knegt shoots in and drives through. Condit sprawls well.
Condit swats away the attempt to clinch by de Knegt.
A decent looking cross lands there for de Knegt.
Condit throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent de Knegt stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
de Knegt shoots for a takedown but Condit saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

de Knegt bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Condit 's guard.
de Knegt drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Condit manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now de Knegt has Condit in his guard.

de Knegt is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

Condit wants to take a breather but de Knegt is having none of it.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
de Knegt is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
