Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Geoff Littlewood (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dominik MacDonald (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
MacDonald throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
MacDonald fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Littlewood fails with a takedown attempt from distance.

Littlewood fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. MacDonald sprawls well initially but Littlewood persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
MacDonald wants to control but Littlewood is keeping busy and won't allow it.
The fighters are battling for position here. MacDonald manages to regain full guard. Nice work.

MacDonald is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Littlewood knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Littlewood's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.

Despite being in the dominant position, Dominik MacDonald just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Dominik MacDonald showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Well MacDonald has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
