Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Karsa Orlong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jason Steel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Orlong looks for a takedown but Steel sprawls well. Steel avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Orlong tries to clinch up but Steel circles away and keeps his distance. Steel closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Steel lands in his opponent's guard. Steel postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Orlong is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Steel, into his guard. Orlong wanted to stand there but Steel had control of the position. Orlong has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Steel wants to stand and escape but Orlong is having none of it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Orlong throws a big right hand that misses. Steel preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Steel keeping moving, preventing Orlong from controlling successfully. Orlong wants to get up but he can't break Steel's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Orlong postures up in Steel's guard and throws a big left but Steel blocks it. Orlong throws and elbow that misses. Steel uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Orlong's guard. Nice move by Steel! Steel postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Orlong is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Steel, into his guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Orlong trying to stand up but can't free himself from Steel's guard. Orlong in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Steel wants to stand and escape but Orlong is having none of it. Orlong wanted to stand there but Steel had control of the position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Orlong will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Steel looks gassed! Steel avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Orlong is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Steel is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Steel has escaped and now he's on top! Steel drops back, looking for a kneebar! Orlong looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Orlong looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Orlong! Orlong working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Orlong works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head. Orlong tries to score with some ground and pound. Steel controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage. Steel seems a little lost for a moment, as Orlong dominates the positioning. Orlong is working Steel over with some ground and pound from side control. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Steel is trying to get back to his feet. An elbow from Orlong crashes against the mat.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Karsa Orlong dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Orlong with a lazy takedown attempt and Steel counters with a shoot takedown. Orlong fights it but they end up in guard. Steel drops back, looking for a kneebar! Orlong looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Orlong looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Orlong! Orlong throwing strikes but Steel manages to buck up and roll into a nice reversal - now he's on top in side control! Orlong is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here. Steel goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Orlong has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Steel but great work by Orlong. Steel is breathing heavily. Orlong looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Steel is avoiding damage well.

That's one minute gone in the round. Orlong decides to stand back up. Orlong darts in trying to clinch and Steel counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Steel drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Orlong manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Steel has Orlong in his guard. Orlong would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Orlong cracks Steel with a solid left hand. Orlong pushing down on Steel's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Orlong throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Orlong thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Nice strikes from Orlong there. Orlong throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Orlong decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Orlong connects with a high kick. Steel slaps away a takedown attempt from Orlong, before circling back to the center of the mat. Nice takedown defense from Steel. No joy for Orlong on that attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Karsa Orlong. That's going to take a lot out of him. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Orlong is defended easily by Steel. Steel fails with the takedown so Orlong counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Orlong prevents Steel from getting back to his feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Orlong missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Orlong tries to stand but Steel is controlling from the bottom. Orlong wants to stand and escape but instead Steel has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard. Steel trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Steelis looking to pass into half guard but Orlong pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Orlong is in guard. Orlong keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Steel's head. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Karsa Orlong dominated that second round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

Steel in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Orlong tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Steel!
