Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Mizuno Michimochi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hidetaka Sato (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sato has chosen The Prodigy - Invaders Must Die as his entrance music. Mizuno Michimochi had a look across the ring there at his opponent. He definitely means business

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Mizuno Michimochi ! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Hidetaka Sato! The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Kenichi Hosakawa and Yukihiro Shimada.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sato fails to land the takedown. Sato tries for a takedown but Michimochi sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Sato scores with a spinning back kick! Sato feints and as Michimochi raises his hands in defense, Sato changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Sato wants to control from the top but Michimochi keeps moving. Michimochi trying to keep a closed guard but Sato is proving a slippery customer.
Sato stands up over Michimochi , holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Sato trying to control the position from guard on top but Michimochi is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's one minute gone in the round. Michimochi pulls Sato in to control the position. Sato trying to control but Michimochi is working from the bottom. Sato throwing strikes from guard but Michimochi blocks nicely. Sato wants to pass the guard but Michimochi is keeping the position. Sato with a flurry of punches that miss.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Sato wants to pass the guard but Michimochi is keeping the position.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Sato misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Mizuno Michimochi has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Hidetaka Sato. Sato looks gassed! Michimochi with a lazy takedown attempt and Sato counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Michimochi pulls Sato in close to prevent any damage. Sato drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Michimochi dives on top into guard. Michimochi trying to control but Sato is working from the bottom. Michimochi drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Michimochi jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Michimochi stopping the sweep attempt from Sato. Michimochi looking to pass the guard. Sato has an active guard here but Michimochi has managed to pass into half guard.
Michimochi is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Sato sees it coming and defends easily. Michimochi missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Sato is looking for a sweep. Michimochi is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Michimochi is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. Michimochi stalling away here and it's allowed Sato to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard. Sato looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Sato working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Michimochi doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Michimochi manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Michimochi missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Michimochi got a little sloppy there for a moment and Sato has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Michimochi has managed to get both his arms back between Sato's legs - danger averted.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Michimochi tries for a takedown but Sato circles away easily and Sato counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Sato shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Michimochi counters with a lovely shot to the body. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Hidetaka Sato dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Michimochi looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Sato is fending him off so far but Michimochi persists. Nope, Sato circles away and we're back to standing. Sato with a lazy takedown attempt and Michimochi counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Sato's guard now. Michimochi drops back, looking for a kneebar! Sato looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Sato looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Sato! Sato wants to control but Michimochi is keeping him busy. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Sato controlling the position from side mount. Michimochi managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Sato.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Michimochi manages to get back to half guard. Sato is keen to just control but Michimochi is a slippery customer. Michimochi trying to control but Sato postures up.
Sato wants to work for an arm triangle but Michimochi is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Sato is trying to control. Michimochi wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Michimochi with a lazy takedown attempt and Sato counters with a shoot takedown. Michimochi fights it but they end up in guard. Michimochi wriggles free and stands up. Sato stuffs the takedown attempt from Michimochi . Michimochi gets slowly back to his feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mizuno Michimochi . That's going to take a lot out of him. Sato scores with a takedown into Michimochi 's guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sato is looking to work some ground and pound but Michimochi has wrist control. Sato tries to free his leg and advance position but Michimochi is retaining full guard. Sato throws and elbow that misses. Michimochi uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Sato's guard. Nice move by Michimochi ! Michimochi trying to stand up but can't free himself from Sato's guard. Michimochi trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful. Sato looking to hit a scissor sweep but Michimochi is one step ahead there.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Sato is striking off his back. Michimochi thinks nothing of it though and passes easily into half guard. Michimochi trying to control the action but Sato is working from the bottom.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Sato fails with the takedown and Michimochi counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Sato's guard now. Michimochi is looking to stand up but Sato won't let him. Sato throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Sato is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Michimochi wants to control from the top but Sato keeps moving. Michimochi is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Mizuno Michimochi dominated that second round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the ring so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!
Sato closes the distance but Michimochi moves to the side and Michimochi counters with a nice double leg into side control. Sato won't be happy with that. Michimochi moves into full mount! Sato tries to hold on but Michimochi postures up. Michimochi wants to finish this one by submission but Sato is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Michimochi . Sato is looking to get to half guard. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Michimochi is giving the impression that he's looking to ground and pound but he switches suddenly into a beautiful far side armbar! Sato is forced to tap! Great finish!
