Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between JOHN ADAMS (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Frank Abbott (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). ADAMS's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, LOVE SHACK. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Colin Fotheringham and Richard Clark.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Abbott shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. ADAMS manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Abbott trying to control but ADAMS is working from the bottom.
ADAMS has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Abbott can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
ADAMS striking off his back but it's not causing Abbott any problems.

Abbott trying to stand up but can't free himself from ADAMS's guard.
ADAMS had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Abbott defends it easily.
Abbott looking to sit in guard and control but ADAMS gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Abbott can do anything to dispel that myth.
Abbott is looking for a triangle but ADAMS pushes his legs off easily.
ADAMS will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Abbott controls ADAMS momentarily but ADAMS frees himself.

ADAMS drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and ADAMS jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Abbott wants to stand up but ADAMS is controlling him.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
ADAMS doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Abbott counters with a shoot takedown. ADAMS fights it but they end up in guard.

Abbott has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing ADAMS to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Abbott is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - ADAMS pulls down on the head and he's put Abbott to sleep! This one is all over!
