Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Artur Borzoev! The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Frank Dennis and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! West has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
It looks like Chuck West has been cut. Borzoev is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Borzoev changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. West tries to avoid it but Borzoev manages to keep hold of a leg and drag West to the ground. West escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. West shoots in but Borzoev avoids the takedown attempt easily. Borzoev misses with a jab, cross combination.

Borzoev pushes West against the cage but West circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Chuck West has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Artur Borzoev. West shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. West postures up.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Borzoev can do anything to dispel that myth. Borzoev has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but West can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. West thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. West trying to control but Borzoev is working from the bottom. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round. West stops Borzoev from standing up. West postures up.
West might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Borzoev is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. West shoots for a takedown but Borzoev saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Borzoev throws the kick towards the body but West avoids it. Borzoev is looking to clinch but West is avoiding it.
West keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Borzoev looks gassed! Borzoev is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Borzoev stuffs the takedown. West tries to keep at a distance but Borzoev has taken the fight into the clinch. West pulls guard effortlessly. Borzoev really doesn't want to stay on the ground with West. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. West keeping moving, preventing Borzoev from controlling successfully. West looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Borzoev is defending well. West quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Borzoev has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! West celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
