Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Flauterio Toglas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Doctor Dumont (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Toglas comes into the arena with Bodies blaring out of the sound system. Flauterio Toglas has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Flauterio Toglas! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Doctor Dumont! The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Kenichi Hosakawa and Yukihiro Shimada.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dumont is looking to clinch but Toglas is avoiding it.
Toglas fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Toglas displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Dumont. Dumont stuffs the takedown. Dumont moves into the clinch. Dumont is trying to drag Toglas to the mat but Toglas just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. Toglas can't break the clinch.
Dumont digs a right hand into Toglas's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Toglas's gas tank. Dumont is working Toglas over against the cage. Toglas tries to pull guard but Dumont holds him up against the cage and eventually Toglas drops back down to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Flauterio Toglas. That's going to take a lot out of him. An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Toglas. Dumont goes for a takedown in the clinch but Toglas prevents it.

That's one minute gone in the round. Toglas shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Dumont napping and manages to drive through into side control! Toglas tries for a kimura but Dumont is defending well. Toglas wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Dumont, who protects the arm well. Toglas in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time. Dumont struggling a bit here. I wouldn't like to be where Dumont is right now. Sloppy strikes there by Toglas. Dumont is trying to control Toglas's posture but Toglas avoids it.

Toglas is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Dumont knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Who's going to make the next move? Toglas is trying to land an Americana. That's three minutes gone in the round. Toglas is trying to get an arm triangle but Dumont is defending well. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Dumont can do anything to dispel that myth. Dumont is looking to regain half guard here but Toglas keeps moving and retains side control. Dumont really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Toglas. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Toglas postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Toglas misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Toglas throws an elbow but Dumont slips to the side and avoids it well. Toglas tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Toglas has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Dumont wants to control but Toglas postures up. Dumont pushes Toglas away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Toglas gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control. Dumont tries to get back to half guard but can't. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Toglas fails with the takedown. Dumont misses with a takedown attempt and Toglas counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Toglas. Dumont looks gassed! Dumont has his foot on Toglas's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Toglas works his way back into a safe position though. Dumont is controlling Toglas's posture. Toglas throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Flauterio Toglas dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Toglas darts in and clinches Dumont up against the cage. Toglas looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Toglas jumps guard and drags Dumont to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. Dumont won't allow Toglas to get back to his feet. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Dumont thows a big elbow that misses. Toglas controls Dumont momentarily but Dumont frees himself. Toglas looking for a guillotine here but Dumont defends easily.

That's one minute gone in the round. Toglas is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Dumont is posturing up here but Toglas has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Dumont tries to roll out but it's too tight and Dumont has to tap! Slick submission there by Toglas!
