Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Shane Carwin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Steve Raboatta (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Steve Raboatta told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A slapping body kick lands there for Carwin.
Carwin fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Raboatta looks gassed!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Carwin closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Carwin has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Raboatta defend it? Carwin steps over the head and cranks it - Raboatta is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Carwin!
