Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Eduardo Rua (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Remmie Le Beau (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Remmie Le Beau has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Eduardo Rua! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Remmie Le Beau! The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Patrick Alders and Paul Aken.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Le Beau is looking to land body kicks. Rua shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Rua showed some decent athleticism there. Rua slows the pace down in half guard. Le Beau trying to control here.
Rua controlling the action here. Le Beau is trying to control but can't.
Le Beau pushes Rua off looking to stand but Rua dives back in and keeps control.
Le Beau tries to roll over but Rua keeps him under control. Rua stands up out of the half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rua throws a body punch but Le Beau moves out of range. Rua shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Rua was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Le Beau looks gassed! Rua looking to control and managing it successfully. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Le Beau is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Rua landing strikes from the mount and Le Beau is in trouble! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Rua sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Rua in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
Le Beau wants to hold on but Rua pushes him away.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Rua content just to control the position here. Rua avoids the attempt from Le Beau to control. Le Beau is in a horrible position here. Rua smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Rua controlling from the full mount. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Rua breaks from Le Beau's wrist control and lands an elbow.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Rua is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Le Beau can't stay in a position like this for much longer.

Rua controlling the pace for now. Rua scoring with strikes but Le Beau is staying in there. Le Beau wants to control but Rua is having none of it. Rua looking to control and managing it successfully.
The referee stands the fighters back up. Eduardo Rua just wasn't active enough from the dominant position. Le Beau fails with the takedown and Rua makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Le Beau slaps away a takedown attempt from Rua, before circling back to the center of the mat.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Rua lands with a shot to the body. Rua shoots in but no luck this time. Rua shoots for a takedown but Le Beau saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Eduardo Rua. That's going to take a lot out of him. Rua darts in and clinches Le Beau up against the cage. Le Beau wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Le Beau is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Rua wants to get back to striking at distance but Le Beau won't allow it.
Le Beau has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Rua is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. With the fighters clinched against the cage, Rua creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. Rua is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. An uppercut to the body lands inside from Rua. A hook to the body from Rua.
Rua throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Le Beaus head. Rua pushes Le Beau back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head. Le Beau wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Rua has him pressed against the cage. Le Beau is looking to break free of the clinch but Rua has double underhooks. Le Beau is trying to force a seperation but Rua has the dominant position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Eduardo Rua dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Rua drives through and clinches with Le Beau against the cage.
Rua pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Rua shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Le Beau napping and manages to drive through into side control! Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Le Beau is trying to get back to half guard. Le Beau struggling a bit here. The referee tells the fighters to keep busy. Rua working away. Le Beau is trying to escape the position but Rua is controlling the position. Le Beau is looking for a sweep. Rua is staying tight to Le Beau's torso, preventing him from escaping. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rua's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
The referee stands the fighters back up. Eduardo Rua just wasn't active enough from the dominant position. Rua moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination. Eduardo Rua seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. A looping hook to the body misses from Rua. Le Beau does a little dance to reset his feet. Le Beau slaps away a takedown attempt from Rua, before circling back to the center of the mat. Le Beau darts in trying to clinch and Rua counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Rua takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Le Beau throws a nice looking combination but Rua bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Le Beau keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Le Beau gets caught flat footed, as Rua shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Le Beau looking to control.
Rua lands a couple of elbows. Rua slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Le Beau is looking to stand up but Rua isn't so interested in that idea. Le Beau controls Rua momentarily but Rua frees himself. Rua is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Le Beau looking to hit a scissor sweep but Rua is one step ahead there.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Le Beau trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from!
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. The fight moves into the clinch position. Le Beau is trying to break the clinch but Rua is controlling him. Rua wants to get back to striking at distance but Le Beau won't allow it.
Le Beau tries to break free but Rua pushes him back against the cage. Rua ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Rua no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. Le Beau won't allow Rua to sweep him here. Le Beau trying to control but Rua is working from the bottom. Rua is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Rua is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Le Beau has managed to free his arm - good work.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Le Beau wants to get back to his feet. Rua is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. Rua seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Le Beau for as long as he can get away with. Le Beau is refusing to be controlled, as Rua sits in half guard. Le Beau is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Rua perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Le Beau wants to improve his position but Rua is controlling well.

Rua fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Le Beau avoids it really well and circles away. Rua closes the distance and clinches. Rua lands with a right to the head. Le Beau wants to break the clinch but can't.

Rua lands with a left to the head. Rua has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Le Beau uses from the top position. Le Beau has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Rua is proving hard to escape from. Le Beau trying to control the position from guard on top but Rua is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Rua tries to land a sweep but no joy. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Le Beau would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Rua manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Rua is landing with some decent strikes but Le Beau is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue. Rua tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Rua with a couple of short strikes. Le Beau is in all sorts of trouble here.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Le Beau is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Rua looking to control and managing it successfully. Le Beau is trying to get to the cage to help him get back to his feet.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Rua takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
The referee stands the fighters back up. Eduardo Rua just wasn't active enough from the dominant position. Rua misses with a takedown attempt - Le Beau sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Rua on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Le Beau. Le Beau obviously looking to wear him down.
Le Beau changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Rua tries to avoid it but Le Beau manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Rua to the ground. Rua escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Rua misses with a few strikes there.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Rua misses with a combination
so Le Beau counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Le Beau wants to control from the top but Rua keeps moving. Rua is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Le Beau is aware though and is defending well. Eduardo Rua is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Le Beau postures up.
Rua can't keep his opponent in guard - Le Beau advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Rua trying to control here.

And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Remmie Le Beau. Well Rua has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
