Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Christian Brandao (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ciro Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Mauricio Rocha, Matheus Silva and Felipe Paraventi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brandao tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Gracie was well out of range. Poor timing from Brandao.
Gracie rushes Brandao and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Brandao jumps guard but Gracie stands there with Brandao around his waist. Brandao gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Gracie tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Gracie misses with a punch on the inside.
Gracie lands with a left to the head.
Brandao tries to pull guard but Gracie holds him up against the cage and eventually Brandao drops back down to his feet.
Gracie misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Brandao cracks Gracie with a nice body shot.

Brandao is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.

Brandao tries to stall but Gracie uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
Gracie throws a punch but it's blocked by Brandao.
Brandao is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Gracie can't fight it off and eventually Brandao manages to take the fight to the floor. Gracie looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Brandao stops Gracie from standing up.

Brandao stands up from Gracie's guard - Brandao perhaps looking for a knockout.
Brandao circles away from the clinch attempt.

Brandao swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Brandao ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Gracie moves away.
Gracie tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Brandao paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Brandao lands with a right to the head.
Brandao drags the fight down to the ground.
Brandao pushes Gracie off and scrambles back to his feet.
Brandao shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Brandao showed some decent athleticism there.
Brandao passes to side control.
Brandao slows the pace down.

Gracie is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Brandao asserts his dominance and retains side control.
Brandao tries to land with some ground and pound but misses.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Brandao fails to land a wild elbow strike.

And that�s the end of the round � the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Gracie moves in looking to clinch but Brandao pushes him off.
Gracie tries to close the distance and clinch up but Brandao swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Brandao fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Brandao shoots in and bounces Gracie off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Brandao seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Brandao passes Gracie's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Gracie really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Brandao. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Gracie scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Brandao manages to mount him!
Gracie is trying to stand but he's not in a good position to be doing that! Brandao has taken his back!

Gracie covering up well under a series of strikes from Brandao.
Brandao controlling the position well here. Gracie rolled but Brandao kept the hooks locked in and stayed in the dominant position.
Gracie avoids the strikes from Brandao.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Brandao is working on the RNC. He looks like he's got it but Gracie won't tap... Oh, he's out! The ref rips Brandao off his unconscious opponent!
