The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, Jonathan Paton and Steve Montenegro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Corleone shoots for a double leg takedown but Meeoff sprawls well. He's pushed Corleone's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Corleone has closed the distance and engaged Meeoff in a clinch.
Meeoff is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
Corleone has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Meeoff is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Meeoff jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Corleone walks away with a smile on his face. Meeoff gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
A punch lands to the side of Corleone 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Corleone drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Corleone avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Meeoff pushes off an throws an elbow but Corleone leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.
Corleone is trying to trip Meeoff. He has hold of a leg but Meeoff is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Corleone persists though and gets the takedown into guard.

Corleone postures up in Meeoff's guard and throws a big left but Meeoff blocks it.

Corleone has Meeoff pressed against the cage, preventing Meeoff from circling away and getting back to striking at range.

Meeoff rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Corleone moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
