The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Gwen Towbar and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Spicolli blocks a jab.
Spicolli has a takedown stuffed.
Couture darts in and clinches Spicolli up against the cage.
Spicolli blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
Couture is trying to wear down his opponent with knees to the body.

Couture tries to land a knee to the head but Spicolli blocks with his arms.

Couture fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Spicolli, pushing him back against the cage.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Spicolli goes for a takedown attempt but Couture pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Couture throws a right hand that Spicolli ducks under and follows up with a left that Spicolli also avoids with ease.
Couture moves in looking to clinch but Spicolli pushes him off.
Couture leaves Spicolli with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Spicolli gets a takedown into half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Couture won't allow Spicolli to pass to mount.
Spicolli seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Couture is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
