The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rider rushes de Santos and presses him up against the cage.
Both guys are working to get underhooks.
de Santos has Rider pressed against the cage, preventing Rider from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Rider breaks the clinch.
de Santos fails with a takedown attempt.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from de Santos.
de Santos shoots in for a takedown but Rider shows good takedown defense.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Bruno de Santos. That's going to take a lot out of him.
de Santos shoots in and drives through. Rider sprawls well.
de Santos takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.

Rider throws a combination but it was largely blocked by de Santos.
Rider feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to de Santos's calf.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Rider comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.

It looks like Bruno de Santos has been cut.
Rider throws a sloppy head kick and de Santos moves out of range easily.
Rider clinches.
Rider stalling.
Rider manages to break the clinch.
Rider throws a quick inside leg kick.
Rider lands with a big right hook that stumbles de Santos - he's out on his feet here! Rider follows up with another monster hook that separates de Santos from consciousness! de Santos falls, almost in slow motion to the canvas! Rider stands and admires his work as the crowd go wild.
