0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Charlie Anderson! The judges for this bout are Anthony Taglia, Chad Campbell and John Kavanagh.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Banes tries to close the distance and clinch up but Anderson swats him away and circles back towards the center. No joy there for Anderson, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Banes is looking to clinch but Anderson is avoiding it.
Anderson scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Banes looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Anderson decides to stand and escape the position. Nice body kick there by Banes. Banes shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Anderson pinned against the cage. Anderson gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Mike Banes has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Anderson wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Banes is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
And that's the end of the fight! Charlie Anderson comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Anderson has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today.
