Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Darrin McKanner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jose Faber (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Darrin McKanner! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Jose Faber! The judges for this bout are William Gold, Chris Edwards and Daniel Bishop.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McKanner has taken the fight to the clinch.
McKanner scores with a shot to the side of Faber's head.
McKanner manages to break the clinch.
Faber looks for a takedown but McKanner sprawls well.
McKanner forces Faber back against the cage and clinches. A short right from McKanner on the inside. Faber tries to pull guard but McKanner holds him up against the cage and eventually Faber drops back down to his feet.
McKanner swings away with an uppercut that misses.
McKanner keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Faber's efforts to push away. Faber on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Faber wants to break free but McKanner has control.
McKanner pulls guard.
Faber drops back, looking for a kneebar! McKanner looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. McKanner looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from McKanner!
McKanner decides to stand back up. McKanner steps back and let's Faber get back to his feet.
 That's one minute gone in the round.
McKanner looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Faber! Faber is desperately trying to improve his position but McKanner has a good base and remains in mount.
McKanner stands up from mount. Strange move.
McKanner gets in close and instigates a clinch.
McKanner breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
McKanner looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. McKanner uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Faber.
McKanner closes the distance and pushes Faber back into the cage. The pace really dropping off here, momentarily.
McKanner pulls guard. McKanner will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
McKanner looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
McKanner has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Faber can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. McKanner is breathing heavily.
 That's two minutes gone in the round.
Faber decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Faber throws a body kick that misses. McKanner is looking to clinch. Faber throws out a powerful jab. Faber loads up on a big right hand but McKanner slips the punch. Faber just misses with a punch to the body.
Faber throws a jab but it's blocked by McKanner. McKanner walks into a jab. Nice straight punches there by Faber. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Faber. Faber lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Faber throws a lazy right hand but McKanner sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Faber throws an overhand right that lands on McKanner's shoulder, as McKanner tries to avoid the shot. Faber lands with a straight right. McKanner didn't see that one coming.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. McKanner defending well as Faber loads up on a big left hand. Faber looks to land a right hand but McKanner moved out of range. Faber bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
McKanner rushes Faber and presses him up against the cage. McKanner throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Faber blocks it with crossed arms. Faber jumps guard but McKanner stands there with Faber around his waist. Faber gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Darrin McKanner has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jose Faber.
Faber ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Faber no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Faber looking for submissions from the bottom but instead McKanner passes into side control.
Faber sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. McKanner wants to stand but Faber has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now. Faber moves into full guard.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Faber is on top in guard.
Faber drops back looking for a leg! McKanner is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and McKanner manages to kick Faber off! Faber jumps back into McKanner's guard. Faber wanted to stand there but McKanner had control of the position.
Faber decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. McKanner drops his hands momentarily and Faber takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. And that�s the end of the round � the fighters go back to their corners.
Darrin McKanner dominated that round. That's time! Back to the action!
Faber thows a left - swing and a miss! McKanner misses with a few strikes there.
McKanner rushes Faber and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Faber tries to pull guard but McKanner holds him up against the cage and eventually Faber drops back down to his feet.
Faber wants a takedown.
McKanner has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Faber regains guard immediately. McKanner has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
McKanner is sitting in close to Faber's body. Faber has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! McKanner is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, McKanner is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Faber.
