Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Hugo Neto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alan Charuto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Charuto has chosen Sergio Mendes - Joga Bontio as his entrance music. Alan Charuto is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Hugo Neto! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Alan Charuto! The judges for this bout are Luis Engracia, Edson Gomes and Mauricio Rocha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Neto throws a right and a left that both miss. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Charuto. Charuto drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Charuto trying to control the position from guard on top but Neto is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Neto is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Charuto is controlling him. Charuto in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Charuto scoring with some ground and pound. Neto wants to stand but Charuto is controlling the position. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Charuto accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Charuto thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Neto knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Charuto on the ground.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Neto moves into the clinch. Neto has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Charuto clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
That's one minute gone in the round. Neto tries to keep control of the position but Charuto is staying busy. Charuto is trying to break free.
Neto wants to control the position but Charuto frees himself and scrambles - Neto manages to regain control in side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Charuto is pushing Neto's head away, looking to escape. Neto manages to hold on to the position though. Charuto is looking for a sweep. Neto decides to stand up, so the ref orders Charuto to his feet. Neto with a lazy takedown attempt and Charuto counters with a nice uppercut. Neto with a poor takedown letting Charuto counter with a right hand. Neto is breathing heavily. Charuto with a poor takedown and Neto counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Neto. Neto trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Charuto lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Neto!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Charuto is working close to his opponent, looking to work a submission by the looks of things. Oh, he's managed to get a guillotine from mount as his opponent reached up! That looks tiiiiight! Will he tap? YES, he's tapped! Impressive submission by Charuto!
