Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Wrakeem Phoenix (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Theo Gillberg (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Wrakeem Phoenix! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Theo Gillberg! The judges for this bout are John Roberts, Bruno Lombardi and Reed Andrews.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gillberg throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. Gillberg misses the shot to the body. Gillberg misses with a few strikes there.
Phoenix gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Gillberg trying to control but Phoenix is working from the bottom. Phoenix wants to stand up but Gillberg is controlling him. Gillberg advances to half guard. Gillberg is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Phoenix wants to control but Gillberg is keeping busy.
Gillberg wants to free his trapped foot but Phoenix is holding on for dear life with his legs. Gillberg is trying to work for a kimura but Phoenix is defending well.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gillberg is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Phoenix is just riding it out for now. Gillberg eventually gives up the hold. Gillberg wants to take a breather but Phoenix is having none of it. Phoenix tries to roll over but Gillberg keeps him under control. Gillberg is looking for the mount but instead finds himself back in full guard. Gillberg loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Gillberg wants to control from the top but Phoenix keeps moving. Gillberg passes into half guard. Phoenix is breathing heavily. Gillberg is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Phoenix doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Gillberg. Gillberg is thwarting Phoenix's attempts to control the position. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Gillberg prevents Phoenix from standing back up.
Gillberg is working for a submission of some sort.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Gillberg is controlling the pace.
Phoenix is trying to stand up here but Gillberg is controlling him well. Gillberg is working for a kimura but Phoenix is defending it quite comfortably.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Phoenix tries to get to full guard but Gillberg has control of the leg. Gillberg takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Gillberg stalling away here and it's allowed Phoenix to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard. Gillberg tries to free his leg and advance position but Phoenix is retaining full guard. Gillberg won't allow Phoenix to sweep him here. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Gillberg prevents Phoenix from getting back to his feet. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Phoenix is on top in guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Gillberg looking for a guillotine here but Phoenix defends easily.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Theo Gillberg dominated that round. That's time! Back to the action!
Phoenix fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Gillberg looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Phoenix tries a head kick but it misses.
Gillberg rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Phoenix moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Phoenix has managed to clinch.
Gillberg landing knees to the body. They look like they could hurt.

Phoenix tries to clinch up but Gillberg circles away and keeps his distance. Gillberg swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Wrakeem Phoenix seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Phoenix lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt. Phoenix wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Phoenix connects with a high kick. Ouch! a nice leg kick from Phoenix, right into the meat.
Gillberg on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Phoenix. Phoenix obviously looking to wear him down.
Gillberg misses the jab. Phoenix comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Phoenix misses with a shot to the body and Gillberg counters with a takedown into side control. Gillberg wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Phoenix, who protects the arm well. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Gillberg taking a break here but Phoenix is having none of it and regains half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gillberg throwing shots but Phoenix is blocking nicely. Phoenix tries to kick Gillberg off but Gillberg keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Phoenix is defending against the submission attempts here by Gillberg.
Gillberg is looking to take a break and control but Phoenix is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Gillberg is working for a kimura but Phoenix is defending it quite comfortably.

Phoenix has Gillberg pulled in close to control his posture. Gillberg throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Gillberg postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Gillberg with a flurry of punches that miss. Gillberg postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Phoenix is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Gillberg is controlling him. Gillberg looking to pass the guard. Gillberg passes easily into side control. Nice work. Gillberg throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage. Gillberg goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Phoenix has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Gillberg but great work by Phoenix. Phoenix knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Gillberg on the ground. Gillberg is looking for a sweep. Gillberg manages to get back to half guard. Gillberg slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Gillberg lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Phoenix! Gillberg trying to control but he's not successful this time. Gillberg is landing with some decent strikes but Phoenix is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
Phoenix is rocked! Gillberg goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Phoenix is on top in guard.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Gillberg looking for a guillotine here but Phoenix defends easily.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Theo Gillberg showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
Phoenix looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Gillberg! Gillberg regains half guard. Gillberg is looking to improve his position.

Gillberg swings around for an armbar and he's got it! Wow, that came out of nowhere! What a finish!
