Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ariel Levin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jesse James (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). James has chosen Ballad of Jesse James as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

James shoots for a double leg takedown but Levin sprawls well. He's pushed James's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
James sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Levin's guard.
James is just content to waste time from the top position. Levin takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.

James avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
James must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Levin has control of James's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and James regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Levin lands a nice short elbow.
James tries to get to full guard but Levin has control of the leg.

Levin looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Levin perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.

Levin is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. James doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Levin.

James is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Levin pulls his head out easily.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
James is trying to maintain the position but Levin is very close to passing his half guard.

Jesse James has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

James wants to control but Levin is keeping busy and won't allow it.
