The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Jones shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. St Pierre is trying to defend but Jones finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Jones wants to stand up but St Pierre has a hold of him and won't allow it.

Jones is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for St Pierre, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
