Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ven Supa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mauricio Rua (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Mauricio Rua was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, Bruno Hogan and Winston Howard.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rua tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Supa paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Mauricio Rua seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Supa rushes Rua and presses him up against the cage.
Rua has Supa pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Supa manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Supa pulls Rua into guard.
Rua wants to control from the top but Supa keeps moving.
Rua slips nicely into half guard.
Supa kicks off Rua and gets to his feet.
Rua fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Supa avoids it really well and circles away.
Rua tries to close the distance and clinch up but Supa swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Rua swats away the attempt to clinch by Supa.
Rua shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Rua stands and throws Supa's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Rua taking a break here but Supa is having none of it and regains half guard.

Rua is looking for a kimura here.
Rua is looking for a kimura but Supa is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Rua to get the leverage.
Rua wants to lay and pray for a moment but Supa keeps working.
Rua is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.
Rua might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Supa kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Rua is trying hard to land a takedown here. Supa sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Ven Supa has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mauricio Rua.

Supa has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Rua clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!

Supa thows a huge punch but Rua dodges it nicely.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Rua looking for a guillotine here but Supa defends easily.
Rua working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Supa doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Rua is tightening it up a little... Supa has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Supa reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Supa taps out! nice BJJ there by Rua!
