Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Alfredo Casparone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Hunt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Alfredo Casparone! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Mike Hunt! The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Casparone avoids the head kick by Hunt.
Hunt clinches with his opponent.
Hunt scores with a shoulder strike. Hunt wants to break the clinch but can't.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Hunt takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life. Hunt wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Hunt lands with a left to the head. Casparone goes for a takedown attempt but Hunt pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Casparone changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Hunt tries to avoid it but Casparone manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Hunt to the ground. Hunt escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Casparone shoots in looking for a takedown. Hunt tries to sprawl out of it but Casparone keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Hunt manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Alfredo Casparone. That's going to take a lot out of him.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hunt just misses with a punch to the body.
Casparone shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Hunt but Hunt pushes him off and we're back to square one. Hunt looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Casparone shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Hunt pinned against the cage. Hunt gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Casparone tries for a takedown but Hunt sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Casparone fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Hunt lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Hunt misses with a head kick.
Hunt keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Casparone shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Hunt as he avoids it easily. Casparone shoots in for a double leg but Hunt sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Hunt throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hunt pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Hunt throws a jab when Casparone was well out of range. Hunt works over Casparone's head and body with a nice combination. Hunt misses with the combination.
Horrible takedown by Casparone or perhaps it was just good defense by Hunt which made him look bad. Casparone throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Hunt's waist but Hunt gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Casparone off to one side. Casparone throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. That's four minutes gone in the round. Casparone will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Casparone blocks a head kick by Hunt.
Casparone misses with a takedown attempt - Hunt sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Casparone shoots in for a takedown but Hunt shows good takedown defense. Casparone is breathing heavily. Casparone slips a jab and a cross from Hunt.
Hunt drops Casparone with a left right combo! Hunt follows him down to the ground into side control.
Casparone is rocked! Hunt decides to take the fight back to the feet. Oh Casparone is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Casparone shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Hunt but Hunt pushes him off and we're back to square one. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Mike Hunt dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Hunt lands with a right that hurts Casparone. Casparone looks to clinch but Hunt throws a short knee that drops Casparone. This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:05 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punch and Knee). Mike Hunt!
