The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Martillo tries to close the distance and clinch but Thousand swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Martillo tries to bum rush Thousand with a series of wild strikes but Thousand uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Martillo misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Thousand keeps the fight on the outside.
Martillo looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Thousand takes a swing at Martillo's ribcage but misses.
Martillo tries to clinch there but Thousand circles away.
Martillo fails to land with a series of punches.

Thousand has taken the fight to the clinch.
The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.
Thousand stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.
