3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Lonnie Kiger! The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Robert Twigg and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Fellers uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Kiger has time to react. Fellers misses with a takedown attempt - Kiger sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Fellers displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Kiger. Kiger changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Fellers looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Kiger working the head and body with strikes. Fellers manages to work his way to half guard, despite Kiger's best efforts. Fellers on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. Kiger wants to work for an arm triangle but Fellers is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Kiger is pressing down on Fellers's thigh, looking to free his foot. Fellers is holding on for now. Fellers tries to kick Kiger off but Kiger keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Fellers is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Kiger scores with a couple of nice shots.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Kiger shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Fellers scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Fellers has his takedown stuffed and Kiger counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Kiger. Kiger avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Kiger manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Kiger avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Kiger throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Fellers works some decent striking defense from the bottom. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Fellers is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Kiger is aware though and is defending well. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Kiger can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Kiger is posturing up here but Fellers has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Kiger tries to roll out but it's too tight and Kiger has to tap! Slick submission there by Fellers!
