Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Robin Berglund (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Damon Shawman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Robin Berglund! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Damon Shawman! The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Richard Clark and William Gold.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Berglund changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Shawman looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Shawman prevents Berglund from improving position. Shawman is looking to regain half guard here but Berglund keeps moving and retains side control. Shawman struggling a bit here. Shawman is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Berglund wants to lay and pray for a moment but Shawman keeps working. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Shawman wants to control but Berglund postures up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Shawman tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Berglund wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Shawman shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Berglund counters with a series of strikes. Shawman will be more careful next time no doubt. Shawman has managed to clinch.
Shawman changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Berglund fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Shawman gets in close and instigates a clinch. Berglund has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Shawman uses from the top position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Berglund has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall. Berglund manages to escape and get back to his feet.
Berglund feints and as Shawman raises his hands in defense, Berglund changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Berglund has gone for a leg lock! Shawman slips out almost immediately though and dives into Berglund's guard. Shawman wants to control from the top but Berglund keeps moving. Shawman stands up from Berglund's guard - Shawman perhaps looking for a knockout. Shawman fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Berglund sprawls well initially but Shawman persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Shawman looks gassed! Shawman missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Berglund is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Shawman pulls his head out easily. Berglund trying to hold on to Shawman's head to control him but Shawman postures up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Berglund is not content to let Shawman control the position. Shawman is taking a breather. Berglund says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. It looks like Shawman is going to stand back up.

That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Shawman moves into the clinch. Berglund effectively controlling the action here. Shawman successfully pulls guard.
Berglund thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Shawman throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.
Shawman trying to control the position here. Shawman looking to sweep here. No luck so far. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Robin Berglund dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Robin Berglund seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Berglund doesn't manage to clinch there - Shawman circles away.
Shawman fails with the takedown and Berglund counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Berglund. Shawman fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Shawman pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Berglund misses with a takedown attempt - Shawman sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Shawman takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.

Robin Berglund is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Shawman catches Berglund with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Berglund closes the distance but Shawman moves to the side and Shawman counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Shawman.
That's one minute gone in the round. Berglund tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Shawman smiles and moves away.
Berglund fails with the takedown and Shawman counters with a nice double leg into half guard. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Robin Berglund. That's going to take a lot out of him. Shawman lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Shawman with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. Shawman landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. Berglund is refusing to be controlled, as Shawman sits in half guard. Shawman takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Berglund wants to control but Shawman is keeping busy.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Shawman trying to control the action but Berglund is working from the bottom. Berglund is in trouble now - Shawman has advanced to mount! Shawman tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Berglund tries to hold on but Shawman postures up. Shawman working Berglund over with strikes here.

Shawman looking to control and managing it successfully. Berglund takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position. Shawman lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Berglund hang on? Shawman wants to control the pace but Berglund is squirming around nicely.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Shawman controlling the position easily from mount.
Despite being in the dominant position, Damon Shawman just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Shawman shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Shawman seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Berglund is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
