Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Berg shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Vasco looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! Berg is taking a breather. Vasco says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Vasco is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Berg scores with a couple of nice shots. Berg slips a nice elbow through Vasco's hands, connecting with Vasco's forehead. The referee calls for the fighters to work.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Berg connects with a nice short shot to Vasco's temple. Berg seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Berg working over Vasco with some ground and pound. Vasco looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Berg uses his free foot to push down on Vasco's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Vasco. Berg scores with a couple of good head shots there.
Vasco has left one of his arms exposed and Berg doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Vasco screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:05 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Quinlin Berg!
