Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gus Bombardier (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mats Nilsson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gus Bombardier looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Radbod Blank and Paulsen Ambrosius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nilsson tries to close the distance and clinch up but Bombardier swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Nilsson shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Nilsson stands up from Bombardier's guard - Nilsson perhaps looking for a knockout.
Nilsson closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Bombardier is trying to escape the position but Nilsson is controlling the position.
Nilsson lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Bombardier down.
Bombardier tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Nilsson presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount!
Bombardier knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Nilsson on the ground.
Bombardier is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.

Bombardier is trying desperately to improve position.
Nilsson is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Bombardier is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Bombardier flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Nilsson anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Bombardier and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Nilsson slips an arm under Bombardier chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Nilsson has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Nilsson is squeezing on Bombardier like an anaconda would it's prey. Bombardier fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Mats Nilsson!
