The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mauel avoids the body shot from Ordovaz.
Ordovaz looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Mauel shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Mauel closes the distance and clinches up with Ordovaz, looking for a takedown. Mauel pushes Ordovaz against the cage but Ordovaz circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Mauel closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Ordovaz to the mat! Ordovaz manages to get full guard.
Mauel passes Ordovaz's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Mauel has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Ordovaz defend it? Mauel steps over the head and cranks it - Ordovaz is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Mauel!
