Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Belnick Arlovski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Michal Romaszko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Romaszko has chosen Voices as his entrance music. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Belnick Arlovski!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Michal Romaszko!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, George Francis and Gwen Towbar.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Romaszko tries to score a power double leg takedown but Arlovski sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Romaszko somewhat.
Arlovski dives in and grabs Romaszko's left leg, looking for a takedown. Romaszko pushes down on Arlovski's head and hops out.
Arlovski misses with a two punch combination.
Arlovski throws a right and a left that both miss.
Romaszko keeps the fight on the outside.
A combination from Arlovski does no damage.
Romaszko showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Arlovski.
Arlovski wants to clinch up but Romaszko keeps it at a distance.
Arlovski misses with a takedown
and Romaszko counters with a body kick.
Arlovski is breathing heavily.
Arlovski doesn't succeed with the takedown

and Romaszko counters with a shoot takedown. Arlovski fights it but they end up in guard.

Romaszko drops back looking for a leg! Arlovski is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Arlovski manages to kick Romaszko off! Romaszko jumps back into Arlovski's guard.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Romaszko with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Arlovski doesn't succeed with the takedown

and Romaszko counters by clinching up.

Romaszko gets a nice trip takedown into half guard.
Arlovski is not content to let Romaszko control the position.

Romaszko is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Romaszko wants to take a breather but Arlovski is having none of it.

Arlovski looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
Arlovski keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.

Romaszko prevents Arlovski from standing back up.
Romaszko is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Romaszko closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Romaszko wants to control but Arlovski is keeping him busy.
Romaszko scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Arlovski to see if he's OK.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Arlovski is pushing Romaszko's head away, looking to escape. Romaszko manages to hold on to the position though.

Arlovski tries to bench press Romaszko off him but Romaszko keeps the position.
Romaszko has knee on belly and moves into mount.
Arlovski is squirming around, avoiding Romaszko's attempts to control the action.

Michal Romaszko dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.


Arlovski lands an overhand right.
The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Romaszko. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man.
Arlovski throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped

and Romaszko counters with a shoot takedown. Arlovski fights it but they end up in guard.

Arlovski has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Romaszko is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Arlovski.
Romaszko scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Arlovski to see if he's OK.

Romaszko tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Romaszko misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Arlovski wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!

Romaszko is trying to get an arm triangle but Arlovski is defending well.
Romaszko scores with a couple of short elbows.
Arlovski manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Romaszko wants to control but Arlovski is keeping busy.

Romaszko is not content to let Arlovski control the position.

Romaszko tries to roll over but Arlovski keeps him under control.

Arlovski is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Romaszko is just riding it out for now. Arlovski eventually gives up the hold.

Arlovski is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Arlovski is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Romaszko has managed to free his arm - good work.
Arlovski is looking to take a break and control but Romaszko is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Arlovski closes the distance and clinches up with Romaszko, looking for a takedown. Arlovski pushes Romaszko against the cage but Romaszko circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Michal Romaszko showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!



Arlovski gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Romaszko drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Romaszko jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Arlovski pushes Romaszko off and scrambles back to his feet.
Belnick Arlovski is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Romaszko closes the distance and pushes Arlovski back into the cage.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Romaszko wants a takedown but no success here.
Romaszko drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Belnick Arlovski has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Michal Romaszko.
Arlovski tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Romaszko just stands there and leans against the cage.
Arlovski tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Romaszko smiles and moves away.
Romaszko tries to clinch up but Arlovski circles away and keeps his distance.

Romaszko shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.

Poor strikes thrown by Romaszko there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!

Arlovski is squirming around, avoiding Romaszko's attempts to control the action.
Romaszko throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
Arlovski sneaks a leg under to get to half guard.
Arlovski is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Arlovski trying to hold on to Romaszko's head to control him but Romaszko postures up.
Arlovski pushes Romaszko off looking to stand but Romaszko dives back in and keeps control.

Romaszko drops an elbow to the side of Arlovski's head.

Romaszko is working for a kimura but Arlovski is defending it quite comfortably.
Arlovski manages to get to full guard.
Romaszko wants to control from the top but Arlovski keeps moving.
Arlovski manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

Arlovski looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.
Michal Romaszko is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

Arlovski moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Romaszko has worked his arm free - good work by Romaszko!
Arlovski wants to take a breather but Romaszko manages to regain guard - a lesson learnt for Arlovski.
Arlovski wants to control from the top but Romaszko keeps moving.

I would just about give that final round to Michal Romaszko.
Well Romaszko has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
