Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, carmelo antony!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Paulsen Ambrosius and Aafke Stam.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
antony gets in close and instigates a clinch.
antony goes for a takedown attempt but Martins pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Martins misses with a few strikes there.
Martins leaves antony with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
antony shoots in for a takedown but Martins shows good takedown defense.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for carmelo antony. That's going to take a lot out of him.
antony tries to close the distance and clinch but Martins swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Martins stands and steps away. antony gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
antony rushes Martins and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Martins throws an elbow but it misses.

Martins is trying to drag antony to the mat but antony just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Martins postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! antony is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Martins, into his guard.

Martins utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that carmelo antony will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

so antony counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Martins has his foot on antony's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. antony works his way back into a safe position though.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
antony shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Martins's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Martins is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst antony is controlling him.
antony has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
