Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Pablo Cesar!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Damian Blane!
The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Paul Tew and Colin Fotheringham.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cesar moves in looking to clinch but Blane pushes him off.
Cesar fails with an attempt to clinch.
Cesar is looking to clinch.
Cesar tries to clinch there but Blane circles away.
Cesar fails with an attempt to clinch.
Cesar lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Blane circles away quickly and effectively.
Blane swings wildly with a couple of big hooks

and Cesar counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Cesar.
Blane misses with the head strike.
Blane cracks Cesar with a nice body shot.
Blane pushes off an throws an elbow but Cesar leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.
Cesar is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Blane is keeping busy.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Cesar tries to close the distance and clinch but Blane swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Cesar misses with a takedown attempt - Blane sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

and Cesar counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Blane is looking to escape.
Blane really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Cesar. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Cesar tries to close the distance and clinch up but Blane swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Cesar misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Cesar missing with a left hand there. Blane was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.

and Cesar counters with a shoot takedown. Blane fights it but they end up in guard.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Cesar tries to free his leg and advance position but Blane is retaining full guard.
Cesar is breathing heavily.
Cesar postures up in Blane's guard and throws a big left but Blane blocks it.
Blane keeping moving, preventing Cesar from controlling successfully.
Cesar is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

Cesar throws and elbow that misses. Blane uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Cesar's guard. Nice move by Blane!
Cesar looking to hit a scissor sweep but Blane is one step ahead there.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Cesar lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Blane!

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Cesar tries to control but Blane wriggling away.

Blane throws a nice looking combination but Cesar bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Horrible takedown by Cesar or perhaps it was just good defense by Blane which made him look bad.

Cesar loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.

Cesar trying to control the position from guard on top but Blane is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Cesar is standing up over Blane. Blane looks to escape but Cesar dives into side control.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Cesar lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Blane down.
Cesar wants to lay and pray for a moment but Blane keeps working.
Blane is working to avoid the ground and pound but Cesar connects with a decent elbow.

Blane is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Cesar is controlling him well.
Blane is looking to get back to his feet here but Cesar is keeping cool and he's managed to take Blane's back.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

No joy there for Blane, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Blane scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!

Cesar tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Cesar throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
The fight stays on the outside here - Cesar looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Cesar decides to stand and escape the position.
Blane circles away from the clinch attempt
and Blane counters with a two punch combo.
Blane throws a combination that misses

and Cesar counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Blane!

Cesar goes for an armbar but Blane turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Blane.

Blane stands up from Cesar's guard - Blane perhaps looking for a knockout.
Blane blocks a head kick by Cesar.
Pablo Cesar seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Blane misses with a double jab
and Cesar counters with a good, hard body kick but Blane shrugs it off.
Cesar shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Blane pinned against the cage. Blane gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Cesar darts in trying to clinch
and Blane counters with a flying knee. Nice.

Cesar takes a swing at Blane's ribcage but misses.
Blane throws a nice looking combination but Cesar bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Cesar shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Blane counters with a series of strikes. Cesar will be more careful next time no doubt.
Cesar closes the distance but Blane moves to the side
and Blane counters with a leg kick.
Cesar throws a head kick that misses.

And that's the end of the fight!
Pablo Cesar showed his dominance in that final round.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Cesar, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
