Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Babe Truth (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Peter Stevenson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Truth comes to the cage accompanied by Saturday Nights Alright ( For Fighting). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Peter Stevenson was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Babe Truth! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
8 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Peter Stevenson! The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Albert Achterberg and Patrick Alders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Stevenson throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Truth is looking to clinch but Stevenson is avoiding it.
Stevenson looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Truth will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Stevenson working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Stevenson sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Truth's guard. Stevenson is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Truth defends it well. Stevenson is working for a submission of some sort.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Truth wants to clinch up but Stevenson keeps it at a distance. Stevenson throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Truth was covering up waiting for the punch and Stevenson finishes the takedown easily into guard. Stevenson drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Truth dives on top into guard. Stevenson looks gassed!

Stevenson looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Truth has picked Stevenson up and slammed him! Stevenson can't keep hold of the triangle and Truth manages to pass to side control! Stevenson sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. Stevenson wants to get back to full guard. Truth seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.

That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Stevenson makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Stevenson. Stevenson has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Truth can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Truth sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Stevenson's guard. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Stevenson is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Truth pulls his head out easily. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Stevenson thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Truth really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Stevenson shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Truth napping and manages to drive through into side control! Stevenson swings around for an armbar but Truth sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Stevenson's guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Stevenson is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Stevenson is looking for a triangle but Truth pushes his legs off easily.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Truth stands up. Stevenson keeps the fight on the outside. The fight stays on the outside here - Truth looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Stevenson throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Stevenson shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Truth is trying to defend but Stevenson finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Stevenson throws a strike but Truth avoids it easily and moves to full guard.

Stevenson trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Stevenson postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Truth is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Stevenson, into his guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Peter Stevenson will probably get the nod - 10:9. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Stevenson goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Truth has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Stevenson but great work by Truth. Stevenson is looking to regain half guard here but Truth keeps moving and retains side control. Stevenson is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but Truth is one step ahead and moves to full mount!

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Stevenson looking to force a kimura from the bottom here. He's concentrating on that move too much though and Truth pushes past his half guard into mount! Babe Truth has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Stevenson is looking to get to half guard.
And that's the end of the fight! Peter Stevenson comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Stevenson has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
