Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Roger Motabe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Beast Coat (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Roger Motabe! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Beast Coat! The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Arvi Lind and Anni Minnemäki.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Coat ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Coat has closed the distance and engaged Motabe in a clinch.
Motabe leaning his opponent against the cage. Motabe breaks from the clinch.
Nice sprawl there from Coat as Motabe shoots in. Motabe closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Motabe stands up and beckons Coat to his feet. Coat shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Motabe decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Coat's guard. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Motabe seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Coat keeping moving, preventing Motabe from controlling successfully. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Coat looking to control.
Coat is working an open guard so Motabe takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Motabe tries to clinch up but Coat circles away and keeps his distance. Motabe tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Coat counters with a nice double leg into side control. Motabe won't be happy with that. Motabe tries to get back to half guard but can't. Motabe is working hard here to advance position. Coat stands up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Coat tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Motabe shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Coat counters with a takedown into side control. Motabe is breathing heavily. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Coat postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Motabe manages to get back to half guard. Motabe is refusing to be controlled, as Coat sits in half guard. Motabe is looking to improve his position.
Coat seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Motabe is looking to control Coat's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Motabe avoid being mounted? Motabe is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Coat's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Coat's back! Coat is in bad spot here.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Motabe is controlling the position but Coat somehow manages to roll and ends up with half guard.
Coat looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Motabe perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Coat trying to control from the bottom.
Motabe lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Motabe performing his best blanket impression for a moment. Motabe trying to mount his opponent but Coat defends it. Motabe lands with a punch from half guard. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Coat is refusing to be controlled, as Motabe sits in half guard. Coat trying to control but Motabe postures up.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Beast Coat will probably get the nod. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Coat misses with a takedown attempt and Motabe counters with a three punch combo that has Coat backing up. Coat nods at Motabe to acknowledge the strikes. Motabe bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Motabe is looking to take a break and control but Coat is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Motabe has an Americana. Coat didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Motabe is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Motabe hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:34 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Roger Motabe!
