Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jeremy Crushing (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fedor Emalianenko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fedor Emalianenko is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Fedor Emalianenko!
The judges for this bout are Sergei Dronov, Illya Tyunina and Konstantin Menshow.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Crushing throws a right hand that Emalianenko ducks under and follows up with a left that Emalianenko also avoids with ease.
Emalianenko throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.

Emalianenko closes the distance and clinches.
Both guys are working to get underhooks.
Crushing landing knees to the head.

Emalianenko escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Emalianenko has managed to clinch.
Emalianenko drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Crushing gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Crushing has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Emalianenko avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Crushing is breathing heavily.
Emalianenko tries to pull guard but Crushing holds him up against the cage and eventually Emalianenko drops back down to his feet.
Emalianenko digs a right hand into Crushing's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Crushing's gas tank.

Crushing is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Emalianenko asserts his dominance and retains side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Crushing could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Emalianenko thows a body kick. Crushing tries to catch it but that hurt him.

Emalianenko gets control of Crushing's arms and successfully pulls guard. Emalianenko will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
Emalianenko is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
Crushing will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Let's hope that Emalianenko has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Despite being in the dominant position, Fedor Emalianenko just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

I would just about give that final round to Fedor Emalianenko.
Well Emalianenko has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
