Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Yves DeLean and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Resi slips a straight right by Sheapard.
Sheapard misses with a body shot.
Resi dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Sheapard. That did some damage!
Sheapard slaps away a takedown attempt from Resi, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Sheapard is looking to chop away at Resi's legs.
Sheapard tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Resi moves out of range as Sheapard strikes.

Resi decides to stand up, so the ref orders Sheapard to his feet.

Sheapard throws a series of punches but Resi avoids them all with ease.

and Sheapard takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Resi is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.
Resi shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Sheapard's guard.
Resi stands and steps away. Sheapard gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

and Resi counters with a shoot takedown. Sheapard fights it but they end up in guard.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Sheapard scores with the left hand. Resi knows he should have avoided that one.
Sheapard misses with a jab to the body
and Resi counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Resi shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Sheapard manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Resi stands up from Sheapard's guard - Resi perhaps looking for a knockout.
Sheapard tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Resi stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being.
German Sheapard is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Sheapard missing with a left hand there. Resi was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.

German Sheapard seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Resi stands up and beckons Sheapard to join him on the feet.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Leonus Resi showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!

Resi has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Horrible takedown by Resi or perhaps it was just good defense by Sheapard which made him look bad.

Resi tries to stand but can't do so whilst Sheapard controls his leg.
Resi stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Sheapard to get to his feet.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Resi shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Resi shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Sheapard but Sheapard pushes him off and we're back to square one.
German Sheapard has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Leonus Resi is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
Sheapard closes the distance and lands a one-two.

Leonus Resi comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
