Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Rob Dylan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Michael Hopp (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters really staring eachother down here, as Michael Hopp enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the welterweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
8 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Rob Dylan! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
8 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Michael Hopp! The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Gregory Folan and Ian Loll.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dylan misses with a looping right. Dylan throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Dylan throws a series of punches but Hopp moves out of range. Dylan shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Hopp but Hopp pushes him off and we're back to square one. Dylan scores with a hook. Hopp is looking to clinch but Dylan is avoiding it.
Hopp shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Dylan is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Hopp is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Dylan doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Hopp. Dylan is looking to escape.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hopp working to pass to mount. He's got his hand pressing down on Dylan's thigh. Dylan counters though and makes it back to full guard. Dylan is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Hopp stopping the sweep attempt from Dylan. Hopp looking to sit in guard and control but Dylan gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Dylan stopping the sweep attempt from Hopp. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Hopp keeping moving, preventing Dylan from controlling successfully. Dylan thows a big elbow that misses.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Dylan throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Nice cross by Dylan. Hopp keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Dylan cracks Hopp with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Dylan throws a jab but it's blocked by Hopp. Dylan lands a slapping body shot.
Dylan misses with a wild combination.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Dylan ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Hopp moves away. A swing and a miss from Dylan. Dylan misses with a wild body shot. Hopp fails with a takedown attempt. Hopp defending well as Dylan loads up on a big left hand. Dylan paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. Hopp ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. A lazy left from Dylan finds it's target. A looping hook to the body misses from Dylan. Hopp does a little dance to reset his feet. Dylan thows a left - swing and a miss!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Dylan with a poor takedown so Hopp counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Hopp wants to control from the top but Dylan keeps moving. Hopp throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Dylan works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Hopp preventing the sweep. Hopp looking to pass the guard. Dylan not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Dylan is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Hopp tries to free his leg and advance position but Dylan is retaining full guard. Dylan controls Hopp momentarily but Hopp frees himself.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Dylan misses with a takedown and Hopp counters with a nice double leg into side control. Dylan won't be happy with that. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Michael Hopp will probably get the nod. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Hopp closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Dylan did well to prevent Hopp getting side control. Dylan keeps control of the position for the meantime. Dylan is looking to control Hopp's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Dylan avoid being mounted? Hopp passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Dylan! A nice elbow there by Hopp. Hopp is giving the impression that he's looking to ground and pound but he switches suddenly into a beautiful far side armbar! Dylan is forced to tap! Great finish!
