Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between CT Turner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Don Slice (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Turner comes into the arena with Throw it Up #2-Lil jon blaring out of the sound system. Slice has chosen Welcome to the Jungle as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Don Slice!
The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, Dean Styles and Anthony Taglia.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Some wild striking there from Slice.
Turner fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

Turner got a little sloppy there for a moment and Slice has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Turner has managed to get both his arms back between Slice's legs - danger averted.

and Slice cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Slice lands with a nice combination. Turner backs away looking to recover.

Slice closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Slice lands in his opponent's guard.

Slice stands up over Turner, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

Turner has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.

Turner throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

No joy there for Turner, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Don Slice showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

Slice shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Slice was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Turner is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Slice has just dragged him back down to the mat.
Slice is working Turner over with some ground and pound from side control.

Slice is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Turner has escaped the position, nice work there.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Slice is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Turner knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Slice is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Turner is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Slice tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Slice has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Slice looks up at the clock and then as Turner takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Slice smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

Slice remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.

Turner tries to bench press Slice off him but Slice keeps the position.
Slice cracks Turner with an elbow. That is naaassty.
