Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Bobby Earl (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lu Kang (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Bobby Earl!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Lu Kang!
The judges for this bout are Steve Montenegro, Jonathan Paton and Reed Andrews.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kang tries to bum rush Earl with a series of wild strikes but Earl uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Kang works Earl's body with a nice hook.
Kang misses with the combination.
Kang circles away from the clinch attempt.
Kang tests Earl's chin there with a solid looking shot.
The crowd cheers as Kang lands an impressive looking overhand right. Earl doesn't seem phased though.
Earl shoots for a takedown but Kang saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Earl is looking to clinch.
Kang lands with a nice combination. Earl backs away looking to recover.
Earl throws a head kick that misses.
Earl on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
A lazy left from Kang finds it's target.
Earl misses with a head kick.
Kang misses with a two punch combination.

Kang throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Kang swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

It looks like Bobby Earl has been cut.
Kang goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Kang works over Earl's head and body with a nice combination.
Kang throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Kang looks to land a combination but Earl avoids it well.
Kang throws a nice looking combination but Earl bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Earl tries to close the distance and clinch up but Kang swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Kang scores with a punch to the head.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Earl looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Earl really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Bobby Earl seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Kang scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
Kang scores with a punch to the head.
Kang lunges at Earl with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Earl's hand.
Kang throws a series of punches but Earl avoids them all with ease.
Kang fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Earl on the side of the head.
This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Earl. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.
Kang lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Kang's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Kang duly obliges.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Earl gets cracked there but stands up to it.

Kang throws a right and a left that both miss.
Kang lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Earl backs up against the cage.
Earl takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Kang throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Kang connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Earl momentarily.
Kang lands with a nice body punch.
A right-left combo lands from Kang.
Kang goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Danga de danga de dang - Kang scores with a four punch combination!
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Kang lands a left and a right that send Earl crashing to the mat, dazed. Kang thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!


Earl is rocked!
Kang uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Earl has time to react.
Oh Earl is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Kang scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Lu Kang dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Bobby Earl's cut.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.


Danga de danga de dang - Kang scores with a four punch combination!
Earl seems to have got his legs back now.
Earl looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that.
Earl tries to close the distance and clinch up but Kang swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Earl has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Earl there as he acknowledges the shot.

A lazy left from Kang finds it's target.
Kang misses with a jab, cross combination.
Earl slips a jab and a cross from Kang.
Kang throws a one two combo.
Nice takedown defense from Kang. No joy for Earl on that attempt.
Earl tries to clinch there but Kang circles away.

Earl gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Kang manages to break the clinch.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Kang throws a series of punches but Earl avoids them all with ease.

Earl doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Kang throws a good cross that connects.
Earl shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Kang as he avoids it easily.
Kang tries to bum rush Earl with a series of wild strikes but Earl uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Kang will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Earl dodges the punch combination from Kang.
Kang displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Earl.

Kang throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Earl.

Kang lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Lu Kang is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Kang lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Earl circles away quickly and effectively.
Kang lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Kang lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Earl drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.

Earl with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Kang to score with a decent uppercut.
Kang wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

Kang throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Earl on the side of the head.
Kang is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Kang lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.

Earl doesn't manage to clinch there - Kang circles away.

Kang throws a right hand that Earl ducks under and follows up with a left that Earl also avoids with ease.

Nice straight punches there by Kang. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Kang.
Kang's corner calls for a 1-2. Kang obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.

Kang works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Lu Kang showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

That's time! Earl's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!


Kang jabs Earl right on the nose. Earl blinks but takes it well.
Kang has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Kang connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.

Kang rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Earl moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Kang might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.
Kang sizes up Earl with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.

Bobby Earl is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Kang stalks Earl and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Earl's face. Earl staggers backwards, shaken.

Earl shoots for a double leg takedown but Kang sprawls well. He's pushed Earl's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Kang throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Kang throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Earl walks into a jab.
Kang wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

Lu Kang comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got Kang winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
