Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Phil Kim (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Armstrong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kim comes to the cage accompanied by I'm A Goon - Ill Bill. The key to victory for Phil Kim has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Armstrong bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Kim on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Kim tries to get out of the position. Kim looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this! Armstrong is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Kim's shoulder. That is not cool. Armstrong misses with an attempted head punch from side control. Armstrong working the ground and pound from side control. Armstrong controlling from side mount. Armstrong's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. Armstrong lands a decent elbow from side control. Kim seems a little lost for a moment, as Armstrong dominates the positioning. Kim is looking for a sweep.

Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Kim's head. Armstrong perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Armstrong is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Kim doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Armstrong. Armstrong seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Armstrong seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Armstrong lands with a punch from half guard. Armstrong throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Armstrong in particular looking to stall. Armstrong not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Armstrong drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Kim really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Armstrong cracks Kim with a big elbow. Kim takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better. Armstrong has knee on belly and moves into mount. Jack Armstrong showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

Armstrong is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. Armstrong seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Armstrong content to control rather than advance. Armstrong wants to pass the guard but Kim is defending well. Armstrong lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.

Armstrong uses his free foot to push down on Kim's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Kim. The referee warns Kim that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

Despite being in the dominant position, Jack Armstrong just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up. The fight stays on the outside here - Kim looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Jack Armstrong seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Armstrong gets a takedown into half guard. Armstrong is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Kim! Armstrong controlling from mount. Phil Kim has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
