Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Logan Strauss (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kimbo AbbottSlice (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Strauss comes to the cage accompanied by Immigrant song-Led Zeppelin. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Logan Strauss!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Kimbo AbbottSlice!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Jack Bonds and Frank Antenori.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Strauss shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says AbbottSlice as he avoids it easily.
Strauss misses with a takedown attempt - AbbottSlice sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

AbbottSlice shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Strauss's guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Strauss looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Strauss working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. AbbottSlice doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. AbbottSlice manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

AbbottSlice slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

AbbottSlice postures up and lands a big shot to Strauss's brow.

Strauss looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! AbbottSlice has picked Strauss up and slammed him! Strauss can't keep hold of the triangle and AbbottSlice manages to pass to side control!

AbbottSlice throws and elbow that misses. Strauss uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in AbbottSlice's guard. Nice move by Strauss!

Strauss postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! AbbottSlice is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Strauss, into his guard.
AbbottSlice wants to control from the top but Strauss keeps moving.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
AbbottSlice is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
AbbottSlice wants to get back to his feet.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!

Strauss has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. AbbottSlice is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Strauss.

Well AbbottSlice has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
