Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Chuck Liddel!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
5 - 7 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Ivan Klitscho!
The judges for this bout are Igor Prikhodko, Aleksei Zolotukhin and Valeri Chadov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Klitscho throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Klitscho walks into a stiff left hand from Liddel.
It looks like Ivan Klitscho has been cut.
Klitscho misses with a double jab.
Liddel throws a body punch but Klitscho moves out of range.
Liddel goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Klitscho walks straight into a right hand from Liddel - that's dropped him! Liddel jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Klitscho from any more punishment! Klitscho complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:23 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Chuck Liddel!
