Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Luke Pendridge! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Timothy Price! The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Cecil Peabody and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Pendridge stuns Price with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Price is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Price shoots in looking for a takedown. Pendridge tries to sprawl out of it but Price keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the ropes. Pendridge manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Price is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Price gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Pendridge with a nice head shot there. Price wants to stand up but Pendridge is controlling him. Pendridge has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Pendridge scoring with punches to the head and body. Price is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Pendridge is pressing down on Price's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Price trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Pendridge is edging up against the ropes. He's using the ropes to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched. Pendridge throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Price blocks it with crossed arms. Price jumps guard.
Price lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Pendridge! Pendridge keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Pendridge is working hard here to advance position. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. Price working for a guillotine from mount but Pendridge is in no mood to give up. Price trying to control but he's not successful this time.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Price sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Price pushing the pace here, looking to move to his opponents back and work for a finish.
Pendridge tries to get back to half guard but can't. Price controlling his opponent. Pendridge tries to lock up and control but Price gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Price trying to control but Pendridge is having none of it. Pendridge wants to control but Price is having none of it. Price goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Pendridge turns into him and now he's in Price's guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Pendridge tries to free his leg and advance position but Price is retaining full guard. Pendridge looking to sit in guard and control but Price gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Pendridge trying to control the position.
Price trying to control the position from guard on top but Pendridge is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Pendridge is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Price is controlling him. Price sitting in guard here, content to control. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Luke Pendridge dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Pendridge with a lazy takedown attempt and Price counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Price. Price tries to free his leg and advance position but Pendridge is retaining full guard. Pendridge keeping moving, preventing Price from controlling successfully. Price looking to sit in guard and control but Pendridge gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Price is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Pendridge defends well. Pendridge trying to control the position from guard on top but Price is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's one minute gone in the round. Pendridge drops back, looking for a kneebar! Price looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Price looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Price! Price wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Pendridge, who protects the arm well. Price wants to lay and pray for a moment but Pendridge keeps working.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Price is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.
Despite being in the dominant position, Timothy Price just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Pendridge closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Pendridge lands in his opponent's guard. Pendridge won't allow Price to sweep him here. Price is pulling down on Pendridge's head. It's preventing any offense from Pendridge, at least for the moment. Pendridge trying to control the position from guard on top but Price is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Price is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Price looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Pendridge with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Timothy Price has got the better of the ground game so far. Price is trying to control. Pendridge wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Price wants to work for an arm triangle but Pendridge is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Price is breathing heavily. Pendridge misses with some strikes from the bottom.
Pendridge is looking for a sweep. Price is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Price moves nicely into side control. Pendridge sneaks back into half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Pendridge regains full guard. Nicely done. Pendridge keeping moving, preventing Price from controlling successfully. Pendridge manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Price manages to get himself to full guard.
Price looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Pendridge in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Price wants to control the position but Pendridge says "no thanks buddy" and passes to half guard. Price is looking for a sweep. Pendridge is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Timothy Price showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!
Price tries for a takedown but Pendridge circles away easily and Pendridge counters with a shoot takedown. Price fights it but they end up in guard. Pendridge wants to control from the top but Price keeps moving. Pendridge postures up.
Price wants to stand up but Pendridge is controlling him. Pendridge wanted to stand there but Price had control of the position. Price controls Pendridge momentarily but Pendridge frees himself. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Price manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Pendridge manages to get himself to full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Price stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Pendridge swivels though and keeps the full guard. Price wants to control from the top but Pendridge keeps moving. Pendridge wants to stand up but Price is controlling him. Price advances to half guard. Pendridge is positioning himself well to prevent Price advancing to mount. Price wants to pass the guard but Pendridge is defending well.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Price works his way into full mount! Price stands up from mount. Strange move. Pendridge is looking to clinch. Price shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Pendridge counters with a takedown into side control. Price gets back to half guard. Pendridge keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Price tries to roll over but Pendridge keeps him under control. Pendridge wants to stand up but Price has a hold of him and won't allow it. Price is looking to improve his position.
Price moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Price throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Price holds on and takes a little breather. Price manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Pendridge manages to get himself to full guard.
Price postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Pendridge seems keen to control Price's posture. Pendridge can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Price controls the pace.
And that's the end of the fight! Luke Pendridge showed his dominance in that final round. Well Pendridge has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
