Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Happy Jack (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tracey Baynes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Happy Jack!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Tracey Baynes!
The judges for this bout are Joseph Jones, David Schapiro and Franklyn Lucas.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Jack gets the takedown into side control.
Jack controls the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Baynes manages to get back to half guard.
Jack throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Baynes wants to control but Jack is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Jack thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Baynes's head.
Baynes gets back to full guard.
Jack knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Baynes on the ground.
Baynes looking for a sweep. Not yet Baynes, not yet.
Jack throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Jack could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Baynes is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Jack chips away with some ground and pound.


Baynes is rocked!
Baynes is trying to keep Jack in close.
Baynes is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.

Baynes had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Jack defends it easily.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Jack stands up over Baynes, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Jack distracts Baynes with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Jack trying to control the position from guard on top but Baynes is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Baynes is trying to hold Jack in close to prevent damage but Jack has managed to pass into half guard.
Jack is thwarting Baynes's attempts to control the position.
Jack is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
Baynes has hold of Jack's hands but Jack slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Baynes is still in real trouble! Can Jack finish him?
Baynes looks gassed!
Jack lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Jack lands a big elbow - Baynes is out of it! He's waving his arms around but his eyes are closed and he's not intelligently defending himself - the ref has no choice but to jump in and stop the fight! This one is in the books! A TKO win for Jack!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:20 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Happy Jack!
