The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brisebois fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Brisebois shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Takahashi misses with a series of wild punches.
Brisebois closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Brisebois goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Takahashi has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Brisebois but great work by Takahashi.
Takahashi has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.

No joy there for Takahashi, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
A nice combination there by Takahashi.
Brisebois is rocked!
Takahashi lands a big right hand and follows it up with an uppercut. Oh and another big punch and a knee - Brisebois can't take much more of this! Another big shot to the jaw from Takahashi and Brisebois drops to the floor. Beaten and bloodied - he had enough there. A vicious beatdown by Takahashi.
