Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Kazuri Sakuraba (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Conal MacCollum (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). MacCollum is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Riverdance. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kazuri Sakuraba! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Conal MacCollum! The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, George Francis and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! MacCollum stuffs the takedown. MacCollum gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Sakuraba to score an easy takedown into full guard. MacCollum has an active guard here but Sakuraba has managed to pass into half guard.
Sakuraba wants to pass the guard but MacCollum is defending well. MacCollum is looking to improve his position.
Sakuraba scores with a couple of good hammerfists. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. MacCollum is trying to control but can't.
Sakuraba working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Sakuraba is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. Sakuraba trying to mount his opponent but MacCollum defends it.
That's one minute gone in the round. MacCollum is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Sakuraba's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Sakuraba's back! MacCollum looking for the RNC. Sakuraba manages to reverse the position and now he's in MacCollum's guard. Nice work there by Sakuraba.
Sakuraba trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Sakuraba pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. MacCollum is keeping the position for now. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Sakuraba is working hard here to advance position. Sakuraba postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Sakuraba stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. MacCollum swivels though and keeps the full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Sakuraba working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. MacCollum bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Sakuraba's guard. MacCollum with a flurry of punches that miss. MacCollum drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Sakuraba dives on top into guard. Sakuraba cracks MacCollum with a solid left hand. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Sakuraba lands a couple of elbows. MacCollum is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a tringle but Sakuraba frees his head nicely. Oh but MacCollum has switched to an armbar! Sakuraba is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
