The judges for this bout are William Peck, Gregory Folan and Elvis Blanc.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shakur throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Tupac Shakur seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hayes leaves Shakur with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Shakur shoots in for a double leg but Hayes sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Shakur misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Gabriel Hayes has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tupac Shakur.
Shakur throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Hayes was covering up waiting for the punch and Shakur finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Hayes tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Shakur not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Hayes had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Shakur defends it easily.

Shakur must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Shakur is posturing up here but Hayes has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Shakur tries to roll out but it's too tight and Shakur has to tap! Slick submission there by Hayes!
